Meet The Team
Director
Jacquelyn Walmsley
My names Jacquelyn and I am the founder and director of JAXX Accountancy Scotland. I am a fully licenced chartered accountant and member of the ACCA.
My journey began in 2012 when I decided that as a young mum, I wanted to pursue a career in accountancy. I began my career in industry but always knew that general practise and helping small businesses was my passion. I moved to general practise in a mid-size accountancy firm, qualified and worked my way up to management level where I managed a team of accountants and a varied portfolio of around 200 clients. Now that I had found my true passion, I knew I had a lot to offer and decided to start JAXX Accountancy Scotland.
With me, you won't find your average accountant. I have worked in various industries before finding my passion for accounting, customer service is at the route of everything I do and I love getting to know my clients and building meaningful relationships. Within this practise, I'm looking to modernise the perception of the accounting industry and bring a touch of humanity.
With a well-rounded knowledge of the field, and exposure to helping a variety of small and medium sized businesses' I am equipped to handle any accounting challenge.
